Tidal Waves Summer Swim Team - important parent information, and hello from the Team Moms

Hi Tidal Waves Families,

With the first practices due to start next week we wanted to say a quick 'hello' from the Team Moms. We are looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and also to meeting new families. Please come and introduce yourselves when you see us around.

I’ve been doing the Team Mom gig for a few years and have met many of you. I have 3 teenage boys - my oldest, Coach Eddie, will be on the deck with your kids every day.

Candice is stepping up and helping me out as Team Mom this year (I’m SO grateful). She has 3 daughters, and her youngest will be embarking on her first ever Summer Swim season, so between us we’ve got the whole spectrum of swim-kids covered!

The main way we support the coaches during the summer is by making sure we have plenty of parent volunteers - know that you will hear from us a lot about filling those spots! We need over 40 parent volunteers at each meet which means we need every family, whether brand new or returning, to volunteer multiple times. No volunteer roles require any previous experience so don't hold back!

Please click here to sign up. Signing up now means you get your choice of jobs and choice of dates. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

You'll hear from us about plenty of fun things too, but for now this sign up is priority #1.

We're on Instagram @Chastainparktidalwaves. Please follow!

If you have any questions about volunteering (or anything else) please drop me an email or a text (678 467 2346) and I'll do my best to be helpful or direct you to someone who can help.

With thanks!

Emma (Langford) & Candice (Smith)
